Interislander - Across the Cook Strait
We had a good journey across the Cook Strait, weather was good but very windy up on deck. We both got a bit wind burnt. The views as you arrive on the South island are breathtaking as you travel through the Tory Sound and then into Queen Charlotte Sound, eventually docking in Picton. A short journey takes us into Blenheim having got no accommodation booked we travel around a bit and then find Bryden Motel http://www.brydan.co.nz/ we have a house it is fantastic & even has a garage with remote control. It is very luxurious and close to all the vinyards. After settling in we take off to our favourite wineries St Clair, do some tastings & buy some wine and then onto Hunters. More to come tomorrow!
